How to use RSS feed at psa-rising.com
psa-rising.com homepage has added a button, which looks like this
.
On some pages you’ll see a tiny button on the navigation bar at the top of the page.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It’s a way of spreading a websites’s new content as soon as updated. You can receive this content in several ways — as headlines via your browser’s Bookmarks Toolbar Folder; as headlines and intros via a feed reader service like My Yahoo’s, Google’s and AOL’s (right now we can’t get AOL’s to work); and even through your cell phone.
More detail on how this works.
If you click an orange button, some though not all browsers will ask if you want to “Add Live Bookmark” to your Toolbar Folder. If yes, your browser will install an orange button icon for PSA Rising Blog. When you click on that bookmark in you browser pull down menus you will receive fresh headlines from this website’s blog. Click on any of the headlines to go to the story.
Users of Mozilla Firefox can install simple toolbar plugin to handle this.
Safari for Mac handles feeds well, I’ve just learned.
